Project Summary
Since 2011, Metro Consulting Associates (MCA) has served as a “go to” development consultant for Menards, a leading home improvement retailer, providing a comprehensive mix of services from site due diligence and engineering through construction support.
As Menards evolved, so has its real estate strategy—from new location developments to existing store expansions, the company is now focused on maximizing nearby properties with complementary ventures like self-storage facilities.
MCA has helped Menards with some of their more challenging developments, including the commercial redevelopment of the Gibraltar Trade Center site in Taylor, Michigan, which required the configuration of the site’s 100-year floodplain and the Orion Township, Michigan development, which was on a sand pit with a 110 feet site elevation difference.
