Industrial Campus Development

Metro Consulting Associates (MCA) is providing construction layout services for an industrial complex development in Northern Indiana. The industrial campus will hold 27 industrial buildings of 215,000 square feet each, with accompanying auxiliary support buildings of various sizes on the 640-acre campus. Our team is responsible for staking the initial control network used by trades in the field and coordinating points in the office for each of the three phases of development. MCA has completed wetland delineation, infrastructure building, and construction staking activities such as mass-grade, piers/piles for foundation support, control points for column line layout, coordination of wet utilities to service each building, QA/QC flatness of the concrete for multiple tanks on site to meet specs, and more.

Phase one is underway, with construction at various stages for the first six industrial buildings and three additional buildings expected to start construction soon. This five-year construction project is anticipated to be completed sometime in 2030.
