Industrial Campus Development

Metro Consulting Associates (MCA) is providing construction layout services for Phase 1 of an industrial complex development in Northern Indiana. Throughout Phase 1, MCA is completing 10 industrial buildings, each measuring 215,000 square feet, along with accompanying substation coordination, site control, and storm sewer installation on the 640-acre campus.

Our team is responsible for staking the initial control network used by trades in the field and coordinating points in the office for each of the three phases of development. MCA has completed wetland delineation, infrastructure building, and construction staking activities, including mass grading, piers/piles for foundation support, control points for column line layout, coordination of wet utilities to service each building, QA/QC of flatness for multiple tanks on site to meet specifications, and more.

Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, with final development activities wrapping up sometime in 2030.
