The second main resource Neha uses is the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Construct Connect Daily Digest. Construct Connect is an online forum where CSI members can engage with each other and share knowledge. The Daily Digest is emailed to members summarizing the posts from the previous day. It’s a concise way to stay informed on industry trends, technical discussions, and member-shared best practices.

“I discovered both of these resources while looking for ways to strengthen my contribution to MCA’s contract documentation preparation for various projects.
I came across the AEC Project Management Podcast while exploring industry-specific project management content and saw it through a discussion thread in an online AEC community where professionals were sharing their favorite project management resources.
During that search, I also found the CSI Construct Connect Community, which ultimately led me to become a CSI member so I could access the Daily Digest and other specification-related resources.”
How do you apply this resource?
“I often listen to the AEC Project Management Podcast during my commute. If I hear an idea I want to explore further, I use Google Voice to quickly add a note on my phone so I can review it later.
I also go through the CSI Construct Connect Daily Digest each morning, flagging articles or discussion threads that are relevant not only to my current projects but also to broader best practices within the industry.”
