Utilizing LiDAR technology and Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment, Metro Consulting Associates (MCA) assessed the condition and ability of an automation factory’s existing concrete slab to support several new large automation robots. Due to the new robot’s precise flatness tolerance requirements, this assessment was critical to ensure proper installation without excessive shimming at the robot bases.
