Meet MCA’s 2025 Summer Interns

It’s summertime, and you know what that means – new interns! Metro Consulting Associates (MCA) is excited to welcome five new interns for a summer of hands-on experiences, mentorship, and transferable skills that will put them ahead in their careers.

With new ideas and fresh perspectives in the office, our team looks forward to having these young professionals on board for the summer.

Jaden Graham

Construction Engineer Intern, Municipal

Jaden Graham is interning with MCA for the summer while gaining accreditation for his bachelor of science in construction management degree at Wayne State University. A Detroit native, Jaden grew up dreaming of being the President of the United States or a Navy Seal, before he found his passion for impacting local communities through construction. He greatly enjoys the diversity that a career in construction offers, with each day being a unique challenge.

Throughout this internship, Jaden is most interested in gaining on-site experience and growing his knowledge, with aspirations to own his own construction company one day. Outside of his internship at MCA, you can find Jaden enjoying quality time with his family and friends.

Carter Melonio

CMT Technician Intern, Construction Materials Testing

MCA’s Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team welcomed Carter Melonio as CMT Technician Intern for the summer. Once dreaming of becoming a rockstar in Waterford, Michigan, Carter is now attending Alma College, pursuing a major in mathematics.

Newly interested in working in the construction industry, Carter is eager to visit new sites, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, and learn from highly experienced materials testing professionals. Outside of his internship, Carter is preparing for his wrestling season this winter at Alma College.

Yusef Muhammad

Field Technician Intern, Municipal

MCA is excited to welcome Yusef Muhammad back for his second summer interning as a Field Technician Intern. Going into his junior year at Michigan State University, Yusef is pursuing a bachelor of science in civil engineering with an interest in how a city’s infrastructure works together to serve a community. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where he dreamed of becoming an architect. With the same passion but a different approach, Yusef enjoys design and construction and appreciates how ideas become practical solutions for people.

This summer, Yusef is excited to learn more about the field and gain hands-on experience at project sites. When he’s not visiting MCA project sites, Yusef enjoys swimming, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.

Christopher Niemenski

Civil Engineer Intern, Municipal

We’re excited to welcome Christopher (Chris) Niemenski to join our expert engineers for the summer as a Civil Engineer Intern. After growing up in Farmington Hills with dreams of becoming a doctor, Chris pivoted from caretaker to innovator, with a fascination for architecture and a passion for building communities. With this excitement, Chris is attending the University of Michigan, pursuing his bachelor of science in civil engineering.

This summer, Chris is looking forward to expanding his knowledge and practicing hands-on experiences of adopting engineering values. Outside of MCA, you can find Chris catching up on sleep and relaxing with his family and friends this summer.

Kameron Radatz

CMT Technician Intern, Construction Materials Testing

Kameron Radatz is joining our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team for the summer as a CMT Technician Intern. Growing up in Port Huron, Michigan, Kameron dreamed of becoming an F1 Driver or a politician before coming to work with his Dad, who manages a construction warehouse. Enamored by construction equipment and materials testing processes, Kameron is currently obtaining his business transfer degree from Saint Clair Community College and will soon transfer to Laurence Tech to pursue a degree in concrete tech and management.

This summer, Kameron is most excited about gaining hands-on experiences and growing in his passion. When he’s not performing Technician responsibilities this summer, you can find Kameron off-roading or driving his 4-wheeler.

MCA is excited to spread our passion, knowledge, and experiences with these new interns. Stay tuned to see what they learn, how they’ve grown, and what they enjoyed the most this summer.
